SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — The San Jose Sharks have signed restricted free agent forward Travis Oleksuk to a one-year contract.

Oleksuk had 19 goals and 21 assists in 74 games last season with Worcester of the AHL.

The Sharks also announced Friday that former forward Niklas Sundstrom has been hired as a European scout and several other changes to the front office.

Mike Ricci will work on the development of the team's forwards throughout the organization and Bryan Marchment will have a similar role for defensemen. Scout Dirk Graham will also work in the player development process with an emphasis on leadership and character development.

Also, director of pro scouting John Ferguson is leaving the organization for a position with the Boston Bruins.
