TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Two daredevils hoping to succeed where Evel Knievel failed 40 years ago in jumping a southern Idaho canyon are looking at delays due to television scheduling. The Times-News reports the dates for the Snake River Canyon jumps are being pushed back to late September or October, so both can be broadcast by Fox.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho's workforce development training fund is getting a makeover. Idaho Department of Labor Director Ken Edmunds says highly-rated businesses will now receive larger reimbursement amounts. The fund provides grant money to businesses to pay for employee training and is used to attract out-of-state companies.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Speed limits on some portions of interstates in Idaho will go from 75 to 80 mph starting July 1. The Idaho Transportation Department says Interstates 15, 84 and 86 will have speed limits increased in rural areas. Speed limits in urban areas will mostly remain at 65 mph. Lawmakers approved the increases earlier this year.

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Idaho State University has received a $150,000 federal grant to develop techniques using drones to monitor crop health. Project Director Donna Delparte says they are already being tested on eastern Idaho farms. She tells the Post Register that sensors on the craft have the potential to provide farmers quick information about crop health over large areas.
