PROVO, Utah (AP) — Police have arrested two brothers from Orem and another man accused of putting on fake mustaches and beards before committing forceful bank robberies with weapons and pepper spray.
Provo police announced Tuesday that they'd arrested a 19-year-old man and two brothers, ages 19 and 20, on suspicion of aggravated robbery.
The brothers are accused in a robbery May 2 at the AM Bank in Lindon, while the other man is accused of joining them for the robbery of an AM Bank branch in Provo on June 17.
Police say the men disguised themselves before showing a gun, Taser and pepper spray and forcing all employees to the ground.
Authorities say at least one employee was pepper-sprayed in the Lindon robbery.
Police say a tipster heard someone bragging about the crimes.
