LAS VEGAS (AP) — A man and woman who killed two Las Vegas police officers and a Wal-Mart shopper before they died in a store shootout earlier this month were heavily armed and carried ammunition including armor-piercing bullets. Clark County's Sheriff says 52 shots were fired by the Millers and officers before the couple died.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A judge has set June 30 as a new court date for a Las Vegas mother facing felony charges after police say she tossed her two young children and herself out a second-story window. A jail official says 34-year-old Luz Robledo Ibarra refused to leave her jail cell yesterday for an initial court appearance. Robledo Ibarra wasn't represented by a lawyer.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities in Las Vegas say it will take several weeks to determine the causes of death of two Electric Daisy Carnival fans in separate incidents during the weekend. Police say both deaths were believed to be from medical conditions. However, medical examiners will need the results of blood toxicology tests to determine how 25-year-old Anthony Anaya and 24-year-old Montgomery Tsang died.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say the gunmen who killed a 54-year-old man apparently were looking for someone else when they opened fire Friday at a town house on the city's east side. The coroner's office identified the victim as Michael McCarthy. Two women also were shot and a fourth person was injured in the attack. The shooting remains under investigation.
