SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Newly unsealed documents show an embattled businessman lent his Ferrari, luxury house boat and jet to two former Utah attorneys general.
Search warrants on the Sandy homes of John Swallow and his predecessor Mark Shurtleff emerged Monday. The June 2 documents probed digital devices, belongings and found $10,000 in cash in Swallow's home.
The documents allege Shurtleff jetted a TV actor to a New York charity event.
Both former officials maintain innocence; neither has been charged. They are under a joint criminal investigation by top prosecutors in Salt Lake and Davis counties.
Shurtleff's attorney Max Wheeler could not be reached Monday. Swallow's attorney Rod Snow declined comment.
Jeremy Johnson has pleaded not guilty to federal fraud charges accusing him of using Internet-based businesses to fraudulently bill hundreds of thousands of people.
