HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) — Construction work is almost finished on a new basketball coliseum at Pearl River Community College.
WDAM-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1r8ZwUp ) the $10 million Marvin R. White Coliseum replaces the coliseum that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
The facility will seat 2,700 people and is about 10,000 square feet larger than the old coliseum.
College officials say construction should be completed in about 30 days.
