NEW ORLEANS (AP) — J.R. Pegues has been appointed vice chancellor for administration at the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
He serves as the center's chief operating and administrative officer.
The appointment was announced by Chancellor Larry Hollier.
Before joining LSU, Pegues was president and CEO of Coventry Health Care's and Aetna's operations in Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi.
