Man in serious condition after motorcycle crash

DIAMOND FORK CANYON — A 35-year-old man was taken by medical helicopter to the hospital after crashing a motorcycle in Sawmill Hollow.

Thursday around 11 a.m., a Salem man was riding a motorcycle in Sawmill Hollow in Diamond Fork Canyon with a group of several other riders when he crashed and hit a log, Utah County Sheriff’s Office reported.

A nurse from the group called dispatch, reporting possible broken ribs and collarbone, as well as internal chest injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.

Emergency responders were dispatched, and the man was flown by medical helicopter in serious condition to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
