LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police are correcting earlier accounts of the dying moments of a couple who killed two patrol officers in a pizza shop and an armed man who tried to stop them in a Wal-Mart store. Assistant Clark County Sheriff Kevin McMahill says Las Vegas Police officers fatally shot Jerad Miller. Previously, authorities say his wife, Amanda Miller, shot him before killing herself.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say they talked on three different occasions earlier this year with a couple who killed two officers and a bystander, and the pair did not express anti-police views in any of the encounters. Investigators believe the anti-police and anti-government attitudes of Jerad and Amanda Miller fueled Sunday's rampage.

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — A man is dead and a police officer is wounded after a pre-dawn shootout in a residential neighborhood in Henderson. Police spokeswoman Kathleen Richards says the officer is in stable condition at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center after the early morning gunfire at a home on Flat Plains Avenue.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A federal investigation is underway into an accident that killed an employee at the MGM Grand hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip. KLAS-TV reports the employee was unable to get out of the way of a moving maintenance cart yesterday afternoon and was pushed out a third-floor window, falling to his death.
