(KSL News) -- Police in Davis say a man died when he was hit by a train. The accident happened in Layton.
A conductor working for Union Pacific says the man was standing on the tracks at 500 North and King Street around 9:00 last night. Union Pacific says the man tried to jump out of the way at the last minute, but was too late.
The 24-year old was rushed to the hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
