CEDAR CITY — Police are asking for help to identify the man who robbed a KB Express early Friday morning.
A man entered the KB Express at 1944 N. Main St., went behind the counter and demanded the clerk open the cash register while displaying a knife, according to the Cedar City Police Department. The man took an undisclosed amount of cash from the till after the clerk complied and then left the store, police said.
Officers said they responded to the report of the robbery at about 5:30 a.m. They searched the area for the man but were not able to locate him.
Investigators described the man as being a white male in his 20s who was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. They said he was seen leaving the area in a silver, four-door Honda sedan.
