(KSL News) Daggett County commissioners are considering closing their embattled jail to save money.
The commissioners say the costs to run the jail exceed the money they get from the state to house prisoners. They say one option is housing prisoners from other states, another is closing the jail.
The Daggett County Jail made headlines last year when two prisoners escaped and had a shootout with police before getting caught.
