TULSA, Okla., Jun 6, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Oprah Winfrey crashed a pair of weddings in Tulsa, Okla., exciting the brides and bridegrooms and filming the stopovers for her talk show.
Bethany Francis says Winfrey came into her reception last weekend, congratulated her and delivered a wedding gift -- a setting of dishes -- Tulsa's KOTV reported. The Francises have proof, too, as Winfrey signed their guest register.
Winfrey then headed across the street -- film crew in tow -- to step into another wedding reception. The main couple there -- Ben and Heather Klein -- weren't even sure it was Winfrey until she lifted her straw hat. The daytime TV icon then posed for pictures with the wedding party.
The Kliens told KOTV it was already going to be an event to remember but Winfrey's surprise appearance just makes it a better story to tell.
The footage should air sometime in September, the station said.
