PHOENIX (AP) — Authorities say a pregnant woman critically injured in a crash involving a car and a city bus last weekend has died.

Phoenix police on Tuesday identified the woman as 26-year-old Machozi Lububim.

They say her baby was delivered in an emergency cesarean section after Sunday morning's accident and survived.

Police say Lububim was in a car driven by 36-year-old man when he ran a red light at 24th Avenue and McDowell Road and hit the bus.

Neither the man nor any of the 40 people on the bus were injured.

Two children — ages 1 and 3 — suffered minor injuries.

Police are still investigating the crash and say there are indications the man was distracted before the collision.
