BRYANT, Ark. (AP) — School and police officials in Bryant say no bomb was found and a juvenile is in custody after a student found writing on a bathroom stall at Bryant Middle School that read "I have a bomb."

The middle school and elementary school that's in a connected building were evacuated Tuesday after a teacher overheard a student discussing the finding. Police say there were no injuries.

Assistant Superintendent Don McGohan said bomb-sniffing dogs and their handlers from Little Rock Air Force Base searched the buildings and found no evidence of a bomb.

Police say a juvenile later confessed to leaving the threat and said there was no bomb. The juvenile was arrested for communicating a false alarm. It was not immediately released whether the suspect is a student at the school.
