SBA Holds 7th Annual Export Lenders Roundtable
WASHINGTON, April 14, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SBA Export
Lenders from across the country gather annually to discuss portfolio
performance, share best practices and get acquainted with new agency
programs and policies.
The SBA 7th Annual Export Lenders Roundtable will take place
Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at the Ronald Reagan Building &
International Trade Center, in Washington, D.C.
The event will feature panel discussions on a new initiative to
encourage lenders to provide financing to exporters in their
communities, to loan program changes that affect all SBA lenders,
tips, insights and FAQs from experienced Preferred Lender Program
lenders for the Export Working Capital Program.
The roster of speakers and panelists includes Luz Hopewell, Deputy
Associate Administrator, Office of International Trade; Patrick
Kelley, Deputy Associate Administrator, Office of Capital Access;
Dennis Chrisbaum, Director, International Trade Finance, Office of
International Trade; James Burrows, Vice President, Small Business
Division, Ex-Im Bank; and Chantal Wittman, Vice President, MB
Financial from Chicago, among other experts.
Also, awards will be presented to the top two SBA export lenders for
their outstanding performance in providing financing to small business
exporters during 2013.
