WASHINGTON (AP) — Natasha Adair is the new women's basketball coach at Georgetown.

The school announced Monday that Adair will replace Jim Lewis, who served as interim coach this season after Keith Brown resigned following allegations of unprofessional conduct toward players.

Adair comes from the College of Charleston, where she led the Cougars to a 35-31 record over two seasons. She was previously an assistant at Georgetown from 1998-2004.

The Hoyas were 11-21 under Lewis this season.
