MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Brewers announced Sunday that right-hander Brandon Kintzler had been put on the 15-day disabled list with a strained rotator cuff.
Right-hander Rob Wooten was recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Sunday prior to Milwaukee's game against the Pirates. Milwaukee won the first two games of the three-game series and have won eight straight.
"He'll be ready, that it's not that big of a deal," manager Ron Roenicke said.
Kintzler had pitched five innings without an earned run in five appearances.
