NEW YORK (AP) — Joe Johnson poured in 32 points and Shaun Livingston added 17 as the Nets downed Houston 105-96 to clinch an NBA playoff berth. Brooklyn ran its home winning streak to an NBA team-record 14 straight games and beat the Rockets for the first time in 15 tries. The Nets held the NBA's second-highest scoring team 11 points below its average and finished its non-conference schedule with an 18-12 record.

UNDATED (AP) — Golden State pulled out a 122-120 win at Dallas on Stephen (STEH'-fehn) Curry's jumper in the final second of overtime. Curry finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds, Klay Thompson had a team-high 27 points and Jermaine O'Neal added 20. LaMarcus Aldridge contributed 31 points, 15 rebounds and six assists as Portland outscored the Los Angeles Lakers 124-112.

UNDATED (AP) — Ryan Miller stopped 31 shots and the St. Louis Blues moved three points ahead of second-place Anaheim by downing Philadelphia 1-0. T.J. Oshie (OH'-shee) and Kevin Shattenkirk provided the shootout goals for the Blues, who are one point behind Boston for the NHL's overall lead with seven games remaining. San Jose is still within four points of St. Louis after Brent Burns and Patrick Marleau scored 1:56 apart midway through the third period to lift the Sharks past Edmonton 5-4.

UNDATED (AP) — Maryland and Stanford have reached the Final Four in the NCAA women's basketball tournament. Chiney Ogwumike (shih-NAY' oh-gwuh-MEE'-kay) scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Cardinal rallied to beat North Carolina 74-65. Alyssa Thomas scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Terrapins past Louisville 76-73.

NEW YORK (AP) — It will be SMU taking on Minnesota in the NIT title game Thursday at Madison Square Garden. Markus Kennedy scored 21 points, including the clinching three-point play as the Mustangs rallied to beat Clemson 65-59. Austin Hollins and Deandre Mathieu each had 17 points for the Golden Gophers in a 67-64 overtime win against Florida State.
