NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Thurgood Marshall College Fund president Johnny Taylor Jr. will be the keynote speaker for Southern University at New Orleans' graduation ceremonies on May 10.

The program is set for 4 p.m. at the Lakefront Arena.

Taylor leads an organization representing nearly 300,000 students attending 47 public historically black colleges and universities.

He holds a law degree from Drake Law School.
