CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled top prospect Teuvo Teravainen and placed Patrick Kane on the long-term injury list.

The Blackhawks also recalled forward Jeremy Morin from Rockford of the AHL. Morin has one goal and four assists in 15 games with Chicago this season.

The Blackhawks lost Kane to a lower-body injury during Wednesday's 4-0 victory over the St. Louis Blues. The star forward could miss the rest of the regular season.

Coach Joel Quenneville says key forwards Brandon Saad and Bryan Bickell and defenseman Michal Rozsival also will miss Friday night's game against Carolina.

The 19-year-old Teravainen, Chicago's first-round selection in the 2012 draft, led his team in Finland with 44 points in 49 games this season. Quenneville says Teravainen will not play against the Hurricanes.
