DETROIT — The families of three teenagers killed or injured in a 2006 Wisconsin car crash are suing General Motors, alleging that the company was negligent in designing its small cars and committed fraud by not disclosing facts about the defects. The lawsuit was filed Friday in Hennepin County, Minn., where the car was purchased. SENT: 560 words.

AITKIN, Minn. — Prosecutors can't use 52 walleyes seized in a warrantless search as evidence against a couple who live on Mille Lacs Lake, a judge ruled. Aitkin County District Judge John Solien granted a defense motion to suppress the evidence. SENT: 300 words.
