11 a.m. HAGEL - NAVY YARD BRIEFING TODAY — Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus will make brief remarks concerning implementation plans as a result of the Washington Navy Yard shooting investigations and reviews. Principal Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence Marcel Lettre, Adm. John Richardson, and Dr. Paul Stockton will take media questions on the department's release of the investigations, reviews and implementation strategy TODAY in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E973). Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call 703-697-5131 for escort into the building.
