NEW YORK (AP) — The Brooklyn Nets are without center Kevin Garnett for a second straight game because of back spasms.
Garnett sat out Saturday at Milwaukee and the Nets decided to hold him out again on Monday against Chicago, though coach Jason Kidd said he was feeling better.
Rookie Mason Plumlee started at center.
Kidd said the Nets hope Garnett will be ready to play Wednesday against Memphis.
