CEDAR CITY — Garren Miles and Bridger Streadbeck combined for 28 points as Morgan defended its 3A boys basketball title with a 59-45 win over Cedar.

The Trojans end the season with 16 straight wins culminating in a dominant tournament run.

Four Morgan players scored in double figures. Miles and Streadbeck were joined by Ben Saunders and Hunter Stanford, who each had 11 points.

Morgan forced Cedar to commit 21 turnovers, and it used a 12-0 run in the second quarter to build a lead it would never give up.

Kordan Nielson led Cedar with 15 points in the loss.
