PHILADELPHIA — We had the opportunity to share an amazing story with you in our Have You Seen This section last week of Kevin Grow, a boy with Down syndrome who sank four 3-pointers in a basketball game for his high school team.
Kevin’s awesome story just got a little bit better.
The Philadelphia 76ers were touched by Kevin’s amazing performance and signed the18-year-old to a special two-day contract.

“It’s official! Bensalem High School senior Kevin Grow is a Sixer!” read a tweet from the 76ers official account.
Kevin was the team manager for his high school basketball team for four years and he finally had the opportunity to dress with the team at the end of the season, and he made the most of it.
In the last game Grow went 4 for 5 from beyond the arc and captivated the nation with the inspiring video that went viral.
The Sixers decided that not signing local talent like Kevin would be a mistake.
Kevin spent two days with the team practicing, eating in the players lounge and he’ll even be on the floor with the Sixers Tuesday night when they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
