MAGNA — A woman is recovering after being stabbed during a disagreement.
The incident occurred around 9:35 p.m. Sunday at a home near 3000 South and 8900 West, according to Lt. Justin Hoyal of the Unified Police Department. He said a 20-year-old woman stabbed the 32-year-old victim multiple times in the upper body with a knife during an argument.
Hoyal said the two are acquaintances, and just prior to the stabbing, the victim said the alleged attacker wasn't welcome at the house. Guests at the home held the suspect until police arrived and took her into custody.
The victim was taken to Intermountain Medical Center and was listed in fair condition.
Hoyal said the suspect now faces felony charges.
