MIDVALE — Police asked for the public’s help to find the man who tried to rob a bank in Midvale Tuesday.
The man walked into Zions Bank at 159 W. Center St. around 2:20 p.m. and gave a note to a teller, according to Lt. Justin Hoyal of the Unified Police Department. The note demanded money and said the man had a weapon.
The man fled the bank before the teller handed over any money, Hoyal said. The man was last seen on foot.
No one was injured in the incident.
Anyone with information should call the Unified Police Department at 385-468-9814.
Hoyal said the man should be considered armed and dangerous, although no weapon was seen.
