WEST VALLEY — Police say a baby has been revived after nearly drowning at a West Valley home.

The 9-month-old baby reportedly pulled herself up on a 5-gallon bucket that had an unknown amount of water in it. She then tipped herself head-first into the bucket, said Jason Hauer of the West Valley City Police Department.

The girl was in her home at 7188 W Bendixon Drive.

The child was taken to Pioneer Valley Hospital where she was revived. She was then flown to Primary Children's Medial Center.

The child is currently listed in critical condition.

More details will be posted as they become available.
