SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The Speaker of the Utah House says Gov. Jon Huntsman will veto a bill that restricts his ability to negotiate with other states.

The Legislature will not override the veto. In return, the Deseret Morning News says Huntsman will agree to work with lawmakers on any future deals.

Huntsman says the bill approved by the Legislature would be a burden on Utah governors.

Many lawmakers were upset with Huntsman when he signed a multi-state agreement on ways to reduce global warming.
