Teams, individuals set records at UHSAA state cross country

SALT LAKE CITY — The high school cross country championships took place at Sugarhouse Park this week and a few state records were set.

Connor Mants from Skyview High School won the 4A title for the boys and Sarah Feeny won the 4A title for the girls. Feeny also broke the girls state record for the cross country championships. The girls Ogden High School team won the 4A title.

The Davis High School girls team won the title for the 5A division and they also broke a state record time Wednesday afternoon.

The American Fork boys team also won the 5A division.

Herriman High School runner, Lucy Biles, won the 5A girls title for the second year in a row.
