(AP) - After accepting the award for outstanding directing for a movie, Steven Soderburgh booked it off stage, not waiting for the trophy model to accompany him.
While many winners are confused about which way to go after they've made their acceptance speech, Soderburgh seemed to have had a path toward backstage mapped out ahead of time.
And he didn't look back.
