SALT LAKE CITY (AP/KSL News) -- Two people were taken to the hospital after a semi rollover this morning on westbound I-215.
Utah Highway Patrol says the driver of a semi had just entered I-215 from northbound I-15 on the south end of the valley when he lost control.
The driver told officers he looked down to check his directions and when he looked back up he realized he had lost control of the semi.
Troopers say the driver and the passenger of the semi were taken to Cottonwood Hospital with minor injuries.
U-H-P says the accident caused three lanes on westbound I-215 to shut down for several hours this morning while troopers cleaned up the mess. However, the lanes are now back open.
