PARK CITY, Utah (AP) - Google is designating Park City as an "e-City" - a salute to its use of the Internet to drum up business.

Google will present the award to business leaders at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Park City Coffee Roaster at the Kimball Art Center.

The designation celebrates Park City as Utah's strongest online community.

Google is designating so-called digital capitals of America in each state.

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, will join Park City Mayor Dana Williams for Friday's announcement by Google's small-business engagement director, Scott Levitan.

The mountain town is home to world-renowned ski resorts that hosted many events of the 2002 Winter Olympics.
