NEW YORK (AP) - Tony Award-nominated actress Deborah Rush will star in the world premiere of Ethan Coen's first full-length stage play at the Atlantic Theater Company.
The company said Tuesday that Rush, who can be seen on TV in "Orange Is the New Black" and "Girls," will appear with Robert Beitzel, Halley Feiffer and Susan Pourfar in "Women or Nothing," about two women desperate to have a child.
Coen is half of the prolific filmmaking Coen brothers, who have crafted "No Country for Old Men," "Fargo" and "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" His new play will be directed by David Cromer and begin performances Aug. 28.
Rush's Broadway credits include "Blithe Spirit," "Absurd Person Singular," "Hay Fever" and "Noises Off." Her films include "Julie & Julia" and "Strangers with Candy."
