SALT LAKE CITY — Justin Bieber recently visited the Chicago Blackhawks' locker room so he could take a photo with the Stanley Cup. The photo, however, caused a stir online from hockey fans who were unhappy about Bieber standing on the team's logo.

The simple act of stepping on the logo is something people don't take lightly. Fans and the hockey players themselves were not happy and voiced their frustrations via Twitter.

To avoid a similar catastrophe, the Boston Bruins "Bieber-proofed" their locker room to keep him off their logo. Bieber performed at Boston's TD Garden Saturday and the team wasn't taking any chances, so they roped off the logo.

Amazing 450-yard drive

The British Open concluded Sunday with Phil Mickelson winning it all after coming back from five shots behind at the start of Sunday's round. It was a great day for Mickelson, calling it his "greatest round of my career." But golfer Charl Schwartzel wins the prize for an amazing drive.

On the 15th hole on Saturday, Schwartzel's drive traveled more than 450 yards, landing 6 feet from the hole. Anyone would be more than pleased with a shot like that. Unfortunately for Schwartzel, he ended up missing the 6-foot putt.

Maybe next year.

Manti Te'o jersey sales

Despite the whole catfishing drama of a year ago, former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o continues to be a fan favorite, at least in jersey sales. The linebackers' San Diego Chargers jersey is now the top-selling jersey among all NFL rookies from April 1 through June 30, according to Darren Rovell of ESPN.

Although Te'o has the top-selling jersey of all rookies, it's San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick that takes the top spot with the NFL's best selling jersey over the last three months. While many University of Utah fans may be opposed to Kaepernick, he apparently is a fan favorite.

Russell Wilson (Seahawks), Robert Griffin III (Redskins) Adrian Peterson (Vikings) and Peyton Manning (Broncos) rounded out the Top 5 jersey sales during that three-month period.
