(KSL News) -- Salt Lake City won't dump its popular but messy neighborhood cleanup program.
During a work session last night, six of the seven city council members voted in a straw poll to keep the program as is.
That means you can continue to do your spring clean up and leave the refuse in piles on the street for pickup.
The city was considering getting rid of the program and replacing it with a green waste project.
