SALT LAKE CITY — No more waiting. The NBA Draft is here and while the Jazz seem to be working on moving up the draft board, their work with players is done. At least it should be.

While the inner workings of the Jazz is a mystery to just about everyone outside of the organization there should be some method to the madness. This will be an attempt to give an educated guess as to who the Jazz will take in the 2013 NBA Draft.

The draft board idea is what the Jazz have usually used. The thought behind it behind is a team sets every player up from 1-60 and wherever their pick lands they simply take the highest-ranked player. This won't be a full ranking, but we'll start a little bit down, basically in the area of where the Jazz could possibly draft.

Top targets:

C.J. McCollum It seems as though McCollum has become the reason for the recently discussed trade up talks, but the Jazz could take any of the point guards available.

Trey Burke Seems absurd that there would be a player on the Jazz's board above Burke, especially a point guard, but the Jazz never brought Burke in to work out.

Cody Zeller The big from Indiana should be the top big man target for the Jazz. He is NBA-ready and complements both current young Jazz big men.

Steven Adams A seven-foot player who is very big and has an NBA body, but is raw. He could be a sleeper if he can fulfill his potential, but his floor isn't that low either.

Michael Carter-Williams The drop from McCollum and Burke to Carter-Williams isn't that big. They probably prefer the top two for their playmaking skills, but MCW would be a great "consolation prize" if they get him at 14.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope He could be a better Alec Burks or Burks-lite. Might be slightly underrated, but the position isn't important for the Jazz.

Probable 14th pick targets:

Sergey Karasev The European wing is climbing the boards and if the Jazz do pick him he might be traded soon after. He has a very similar skill-set to Gordon Hayward.

Shane Larkin During the workouts the only player that Walt Perrins, Jazz VP of Player Personnel, really raved about was Larkin.

Lucas Noegueira Personally not as high on him as a lot of mock drafts, but he'll be an option at 14.

Kelly Olynyk Jazz need a big and Olynyk would be a great complement. Outside shooter who can play meaningful minutes immediately and will stretch the floor.

Shabazz Muhammad Don't think he fits in the Jazz's system, but he's a very talented player who has slid recently.

Dennis Schroeder He has slipped back into the late teens, but if for some weird happenstance he is all that is left he could be the target. If he falls to 21 he could be a steal.

In the 21 range:

Giannis Antetokounmpo The Jazz won't reach for him at 14, but if he is at 21 it'd be hard to say no. Definitely a project, but there are some that argue he could be a real superstar.

Reggie BullockIf Dennis Lindsey wants to recreate the Spurs model he needs shooters and defenders and Bullock fits the mold.

Isaiah Canaan The last of the first round point guards, Canaan has moved up and his ability to shoot is intriguing. Doesn't have "pure" point guard skills, but he can play.

Jamaal Franklin His skill set is pretty redundant with Alec Burks, but he did a little bit of everything for San Diego State. Hard worker who plays great defense.

Mason Plumlee Another player that would fit very well into a third-big role. Plumlee is a worker who is athletic and long, a Jazz man.

Rudy Gobert Is he the player of the future or the great bust of the draft? If the Jazz believe they can develop him he has a great chance to be the pick.

Allen Crabbe Just a good old-fashioned shooter. He has NBA size for a shooting guard and can knock down shots.

Gorgui Dieng He is a great defender who is a little older. If the Jazz think they can get him any sort of offense he could be very good.

Please, please slide to 46:

Nate Wolters He is player that could go on the fringe of the first round, but the Jazz would love him to slide.

Tony Mitchell Another player that is all over the draft board. He could provide minutes right away.

Pierre Jackson Same idea as Wolters, he is undersized, but could be a dynamite change of pace backup for the Jazz.

Jeff Withey He is tall and can block shots. He isn't the best big around, but could be one of the first taken in the late rounds and the Jazz would love him to take a tumble.

Archie Goodwin Him falling wouldn't be a total shock, but if he fell to the Jazz it feels like it would be hard to say no to a tall point guard who is all upside.

The 46 range:

Andre Roberson He is an advanced stats wonder. Essentially Paul Millsap and he had the same advanced stats coming out. He just flat out produced.

Lorenzo Brown He has ties to the Jazz organization and is a pass-first point guard. He doesn't shoot well, but could control the ball nicely in the second unit.

Myck Kabongo The Texas sophomore has been all over the boards for the last two years after being a top player coming out of high school. He could be the ultimate wild card.

Raul Neto Is there a player with a name the Jazz organization would love more from their backup point guard? Raul Neto from Brazil.

Brandon Davies Not just a homer pick, whenever people ask about him they say he has an NBA skill that he can take to the next level.

There it is, 30 names to keep an eye on as the draft gets started.

Now that these 30 names are out expect the Jazz to pick none of them to keep with their secrecy. Assuming there are no Jazz trades they should pick about 6:30 to 7:30 for both first round picks to be finished.
