SALT LAKE CITY — Last week Matt Kemp won the hearts of Americans everywhere — well, at least this one. This week another L.A. Dodger, pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu, has made it hard not to be a Dodgers fan.

Another YouTube clip has surfaced, although at this point maybe these are staged (but it would still be cool), shows Ryu playing catch before a game with a young boy wearing a custom No. 2 Dodger jersey with "Deuce" as his name and a Dodgers cap. The stands are empty it is probably really early, but this is an awesome way to win over fans, while not actually winning that much.

It is a sweet little moment with a kid and a player just having fun. Eventually the kid gets warmed up and decides it is time to take off the hat and get serious. The boy they call Deuce could even have a future in baseball; he's got a pretty good arm for a boy who probably hasn't had his 10th birthday.

Good job, Dodgers. You win again off the field; now start winning on the scoreboards.

Crime doesn't pay

Last week this article was about Matt Kemp being cool and Titus Young getting arrested. This week another Dodger is being cool and Titus Young is still getting arrested. The former Boise State receiver is spiraling down faster than a Lohan, any of them.

This image provided by the Orange County Sheriff's Department shows the booking photo of former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young who was arrested late Friday May 10, 2013. Authorities say Young has been arrested in California for the third time in a week. He has been charged with attempted burglary, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. He is in custody Sunday on $75,000 bail. (AP Photo/Orange County Sheriff's Department,File)

Last Friday, Young was arrested for attempted burglary, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. That was his third arrest in a week. That's got to be some kind of a record. Now it is coming out that he might have a mental disorder or illness, according to his dad. Of course, had this come out previously, he might still have a job.

While mental illness is a serious problem in America, Young is becoming the poster child of how an NFL player can go down the drain if he doesn't get his life in order. If he isn't the standard for making mistakes, another troubled player is.

Rolando McClain was once a top-10 draft pick as a middle linebacker in 2010, a rare feat these days. He is insanely talented, and with the Raiders he played well, but couldn't stay out of trouble. This offseason he was considered too much trouble for even the Raiders and was cut.

The Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens signed McClain to try and replace Ray Lewis, but he quickly got arrested to put his NFL future in further jeopardy. Now he has officially retired from the NFL at 23.

The rookie symposium will probably show these two players in the what-to-avoid section. Both players had a high ceiling. The saying in the Draft if talent is the floor, character is the ceiling, and their ceilings came crashing down.

The screaming arm wrestler

There is a good chance this is awesome, or it might be that it is just too terrifying to say anything bad about it. This video is taken from the 2013 European arm wrestling championship.

There isn't much to say about this other than to enjoy the craziness of this lady who is about to lose. Some particulars that are of interest: Her trying to "Hulk out" by shaking her head up and down while screaming, deciding that she can get better leverage by lifting her leg for a second, and it really looks like she is about to bite the winner a few moments in.

For some reason that much movement seems crazy, but apparently it got her that far. Enjoy, and sorry for the nightmares. Oh, and yeah: The video is called "Call the Exorcist."
