LOGAN, Utah (AP) - A 28-year-old Trenton man is due back in court this week to face felony child abuse charges in the alleged beating of his infant son.
Sean Paul Richmond was charged in February after Cache County sheriff's deputies determined he was responsible for the five-month-old's serious injuries.
Lt. Chad Jensen told The Herald Journal (http://tinyurl.com/bodqtow) the boy was treated in early January for a broken femur, fingermark bruising on his chest, other bruises and scratches on his body.
Richmond originally was free on bail but he failed to show up for his initial court appearance in March and was arrested again May 1 and booked into the Cache County Jail.
He's scheduled to go before 1st District Judge Kevin Allen on Monday.
