OGDEN, Utah — Weber State will host Air Force in the second round of the collegeinsider.com Tournament. The Wildcats will take on the Falcons on Saturday, March 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Dee Events Center.

The collegeinsider.com Tournament (CIT) is in its fifth year and 16 teams remain in the tournament following the first round of action this week. All games are played on campus sites. The tournament is not bracketed and future opponents are determined following the completion of each round. The quarterfinals will be March 26-27 with the semifinals March 29-30. The championship game will be April 2 and will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.

Weber State is 27-6 on the season and coming off a dominating 85-43 win over Cal Poly Wednesday night in the first round of the CIT. The victory tied the WSU and Big Sky record for most wins in a season. A win on Saturday night would give Weber State the most wins in a season in Big Sky history. This is Weber State's fifth straight postseason appearance and it second straight trip to the CIT.

Air Force is 18-13 and coming off a 69-65 win at Hawaii Wednesday night in the first round of the CIT. The Falcons finished sixth this season in the Mountain West Conference with an 8-8 record that included wins over nationally ranked teams New Mexico, San Diego State and UNLV. The Falcons have been led by senior Michael Lyons who leads the team in scoring at 17.7 points per game and was named to the Mountain West All-Conference first team. Lyons missed Wednesday's game with an injury.

The Falcons are coached by Dave Pilipovich who is in his first season with the team. Air Force is 13th in the nation in three-point field goals per game and knocked down 15 three-pointers in the win at Hawaii.

This will be just the third meeting ever between the two teams and the first in 37 years. Air Force beat Weber State 56-49 in December 1974 in Colorado Springs. The Wildcats beat the Falcons 82-67 in February 1976 in Ogden.
