SALT LAKE CITY — These guys have heard it all before.

The NBA trade deadline is Thursday and once again Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson are hearing their names come up in trade rumors.

"Really," Paul said sarcastically when asked about his name coming up in trade rumors. Paul seemed unaffected by the talk when asked about it before Monday's practice, their first after the All-Star break.

"You don't really react to it you just let it go," Paul says. "You don't know if it's true or not so you can't really say anything about it."

ESPN.com reported over the weekend that there is mutual interest between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Utah Jazz in exploring a deal that would involve Millsap and Clippers point guard Eric Bledsoe.

"You hear things like that all season," Paul says. "If it don't come from (the Utah Jazz) then it's probably not true. So you just go on with your everyday life."

Al Jefferson is also used to hearing his name pop up in trade rumors. Big Al has been traded twice during his 9-year NBA career and doesn't seem at all surprised that he and Paul are being brought up in trade rumors.

"We're used to this," Al says. "One thing about the Utah Jazz they are a very professional team. When a trade come nobody gonna know until it actually happens. They've been consistent with that."

That has certainly been the case in the past. The Deron Williams trade is a perfect example of how quietly Kevin O'Connor and now Dennis Lindsey work behind the scenes to make deals happen. That trade caught everyone by surprise. Whether another surprise is in store on Thursday or not Jefferson isn't giving it much thought. His focus is on basketball.

"When it happens it happens. If it don't, you know, I'm here I'm a Jazz to the end of the season and we're gonna try to get to the playoffs."
