(KSL News) -- A teacher's lounge has never been thought of as the lap of luxury, until now.
The PTA at Meadowbrook Elementary gave the faculty room a makeover over the weekend as a kickoff to teacher appreciation week. Today educators got their first look at their new retreat and were thrilled with the results.
Allison Riddle: "Honestly, it makes my job seem a little bit more worthwhile. It makes me feel more appreciated that they would want us to feel more comfortable when we come in to take a break."
The PTA paid for the redo by asking local businesses to donate money, goods and services.
