SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah Division of Real Estate has dropped its claims against the principal broker of AllPro Realty over a commission dispute.
Back in November, the division alleged Douglas Bates failed to pay commissions to AllPro agents.
More than 70 agents were owed their commissions totaling about a $500,000.
But on Tuesday, an administrative law judge recommended the Real Estate division drop the case. He concluded the division did not have the authority to investigate or issue claims against Bates.
The division decided to adopt the judge's conclusion.
