SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake police are looking for the public's help to identify and locate a man who robbed a bank Thursday afternoon.
Police said the man entered Key Bank at 290 S. 1300 East at 12:34 p.m. Thursday wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt and purple sweat pants. Witnesses said he was wearing face paint.
The man demanded money, then fled when he was given money. No injuries were reported.
Police said the man's hands may be burned or stained red due to the effects of a dye pack in the stolen money.
Police provided only a vague description of the robber, who they said is about 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall, with dark hair and a slender build.
