Colin Kaepernick is the new kid on the NFL Campus, but in college, Kaepernick was a familiar face as he honed his skills against the Aggies and the Cougars.

Kapepernick played for four years at Nevada.

Nevada 31 Utah St. 28

His maiden local voyage was against WAC conference foe Utah State on October 20, 2007. The mobile quarterback carried the ball 13 times for 46 yards as a freshman and also completed 15 of 23 passes for 170 yards passing and a pair of touchdowns. Kaepernick's 32 yard 4th quarter touchdown pass ends up being difference for Wolf Pack as they win 31-28.

Nevada 44 Utah St. 17

There was no sophomore slump in Kaepernick's second year. On October 18, 2008, he slung for 197 yards, completing 10 of 20 passing for a touchdown and a pick. Just six rushes for 48 yards but racked up two more touchdowns as the Wolf Pack offense overwhelmed Brent Guy's Aggie defense in what would prove to be Guy's final year with the team.

Nevada 35 Utah St. 32

Gary Andersen got his first look at Kaepernick as a junior. After the previous year's blowout, this contest was more even. The Aggies held Kaepernick to just 10 of 24 passing and an interception, although 3 of those 10 completions went for touchdowns. He also ran for 77 yards on 13 carries, but the Aggies get outscored 14-8 in the 4th quarter to go to 0-3 vs. Kaepernick.

Nevada 27 BYU 13

BYU got their first chance at Kaepernick on September 25, 2010. 16-25 passing for 196 yards, one touchdown and pick put the BYU defense on their heels. Tack on 17 rushes for 79 yards and a score and the win streak continues against Utah teams.

Nevada 56 Utah St. 42

Kaepernick's senior year was the most explosive. Nevada put up 56 points in the good old-fashioned shootout. A blistering performance in Kaepernick's swan song tallied 190 yards on 10 of 15 passing with a pair of touchdowns. He also averaged over 12 yards a carry, racking up 98 yards and a touchdown on just 8 carries.
