Throughout all of 2013, KSL News will be bringing you stories filled with important information to help you, your loved ones, your friends and your neighbors stay safe on Utah's roads in an initiative we're calling KSL's Road to Zero Fatalities. We will partner closely with the Utah Department of Transportation and their long-running, highly-impactful "Zero Fatalities" program.
Spokesperson Stacy Johnson joined us to explain the program and what we can all do to make roads safer for all of us.

Two PhD candidates at the University of Utah have started a grassroots organization called Beauty Redefined. It aims to teach women, especially girls, to reject harmful messages about their bodies, self-worth and potential through media literacy.
This topic will be discussed this afternoon on KSL Newsradio's program Cultural Connections. Nkoyo Iyamba joins us with a preview.
