Last year, Diana and Pete Peterson dined in 33 different downtown Salt Lake restaurants – and they ate in each of them for free. How did they do it? Well, the Petersons were winners of a drawing during last year’s Downtown Dine O’Round and the prize was free dinner for two in every one of the participating restaurants. This year’s Downtown Dine O’Round features 37 of Salt Lake City’s top restaurants and during the 2nd Annual Downtown Dine O’Round you can enjoy lunches and dinners at those restaurants at prices that seem almost free.
Here’s how it works: From tomorrow, September 10 through Thursday, September 30th, thirty-seven of Salt Lake’s best restaurants will be offering 3-course lunches and dinners priced at either 15 or 25 bucks, depending on the restaurant. The list of restaurants is too lengthy to repeat here, but imagine being able to enjoy complete dinners at award winning restaurants like Metropolitan, The New Yorker, Mikado, Elevations, Oasis Café, Samba Grill, and Takashi for a mere 15 or 25 semolians! That’s a bargain you don’t want to miss.
Maybe the best thing about the Downtown Dine O’Round – other than the low price – is that there aren’t any coupons, punch cards, or strings attached. Just head to your favorite participating downtown restaurant – a reservation wouldn’t be a bad idea – and enjoy fabulous lunches and dinners in Salt Lake City at a fabulously low price: 15 or 25 dollars.
By the way, if you’d like to see the list of restaurants participating in the 2nd Annual Downtown Dine O’Round, check out the Downtown Alliance web site at www.downtownslc.org.
And who knows? Maybe you’ll be this year’s lucky winner of dinner in 37 of Salt Lake’s finest restaurants. I’ll see you out and about dining around – at the 2nd Annual Downtown Dine O’Round.
