(Deseret Morning News) -- A task force to examine Utah's health care systems is in the hot seat.
State senators Michael Waddoups and Gene Davis say the privately owned Health Care Organization Task Force is failing.
The two lawmakers, both members of the task force, say the task force is letting insurance companies and hospitals get away with having monopolies, leaving Utahns with fewer choices.
The lawmakers are calling for an investigation involving state and federal agencies, including the US Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission.
