SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Two drug addicts who committed a rash of burglaries last year at the University of Utah dorms have been sentenced.
A judge ordered 20-year-old Christopher Norman and 19-year-old Brandy Orr to each serve probation and drug-abuse treatment.
Norman must also serve one year in jail, while Orr must complete 100 hours of community service.
Both of them are charged with more than two dozen counts of burglary and theft.
Prosecutors say the pair targeted the dorms because many students left their doors unlocked.
